Parks

Lake Township Park is great for family reunions, company picnics, or just having fun. The park offers covered picnic areas, baseball and softball diamonds, and playgrounds for the kids. For information about park rentals, contact the Township Hall, (269) 465-6601, or click here.

Lots of things are happening at the park. The Park is now open with many activities and features. We offer batting cages, which are great for perfecting ones skills in preparation for baseball/softball season! Church leagues are available and take place on our beautiful baseball diamonds!  Our soccer fields are a great hit, as over 200 kids have signed up to play soccer, which begins in April. Lake Township Park provides a spacious atmosphere to take a walk, have a cookout, and a safe environment for children to spend the afternoon on the playgrounds. Our newest pavilion, Lake Pavilion, features a beautiful gazebo, perfect for outdoor weddings.

Lake Charter Township and the Park Committee has worked hard to provide a beautiful park for all the residents and we hope you will take advantage of all that the Park offers. Last fall we planted additional tulips and daffodils and we are hoping for a lot of spring color. We ask again that you not pick the flowers but enjoy them and leave them there for others to enjoy.

Remember, DRIVE SLOWLY through the Park, where a lot of little ones are running about. We want to keep everyone safe.

 Lake Township Park isn't the only place to relax in the area, but it is one we hope you'll enjoy. The following are some additional recreational facilities in the area:

Weko Beach and Campground - Located at the western end of Lake Street, Weko Beach is a great vacation destination with large sandy beaches, a beach house offering food and beverage, and several campgrounds. Rates and fees can be found on the City of Bridgman web site.

Warren Dunes State Park - Located three miles south of Bridgman, Warren Dunes State Park has great beaches with many sand dunes for the hiking enthusiasts. Camping sites are available and the areas best sledding is found here during the winter.

Pebblewood Country Club - Public golfing and clubhouse.
