COVID-19 Virus: Until further notice, the Township Hall will be closed to the public. We are encouraging the use of online payment systems for utility bill payments or the drop box in front of the Hall (just west of the Hall on Shawnee, red box before the EMT building). If you need to come into the office in person to meet with staff, appointments can be made. Please visit our website for information/forms and use email for communication when possible. We appreciate your patience and support.

Also, the Lake Charter Township Water System is operating under restricted access.  Water Plant Staff are available on an emergency basis only.  For emergencies call the Water Plant at 269-465-3850.

Due to the Governor's "Stay Home, Stay Safe" Order, the Lake Charter Township Planning Commission meeting scheduled for April 6, 2020 is canceled.

Lake Township Park - The park is open. Please use the off season lot as the main gates will not be open. Practice social distancing recommendations at all times. Restrooms will be closed, porta potties are available and have hand sanitizer. All pavilion rentals have been suspended until further notice. Group gatherings are prohibited. All recreational leagues are postponed or cancelled. Contact the league for further information. Safe outdoor activities are encouraged and we intend to leave the park open as long as safe practices are followed.

Tire Recycling Day and Large Trash Days have been postponed until further notice.

Curbside Recycling - The free recycling program available to Lake Township residents continues to grow.
